We were on our way to queenstown from Greymouth (yes long story!) and we wanted to break our journey. Ashburton Motor Lodge, in the small town of Ashburton turned out to be the perfect choice. Newly rennovated, the rooms were perfect! We took a two bedroom unit that fit our 3 adult children very comfortably and another room for two adults. Very well equipped kitchnette, which was a pleasant surprise. Sally was lovely and very welcoming. Pity we didn’t stay longer, but would definitely return
